There are 5 major aircraft maintenance checks: A, B, C and D checks. The daily check implies that must not be carried out every day. It must conduct, however, after every 24-60h flying time completed. The aircraft is visually inspected for damage to a part of the body fluid levels, the overall safety and cleanliness in the cockpit is looked up, and finally, emergency equipment is checked for its presence and condition.

A checks must be every carried out every 500 hours or monthly, depending on what needs to be done sooner. This is usually done overnight at the gate of an airport. The A-Check covers all aspects of the daily and also crew oxygen system pressure, emergency lights, lubricates the nose gear retractor, brake pressure and use the bite to test the avionics.

D-checks that may be 20 or more days all aspects of the controls and also lower stabilizer attach bolt inspection, inspection and detailed inspection of the floor beam, the wing box structure.
