This is a joint venture between the Malaysian aerospace engineering and GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited. World-class companies set up a third State-of-the-art airframe MRO facility that caters to needs of airline customers. MGAE (mas GMR Space Engineering Company Limited) is the integrated world-class airport's aircraft maintenance, repair and repair (MRO) facility at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Limited, Hyderabad. MGAE plans to improve MRO infrastructure and end-to-end facilities cater to airline customers.
MRO facility aims to carry out base maintenance checks a wide body, narrow body and two narrow body of one cum paint hangars. The hangars will be supported by seminars, which are necessary for airframe heavy maintenance. MGAE initially perform base maintenance checks (C & D checks) for Boeing's family B737 NG, B 777, Air Bus family - 319, 320, 321 and 330, ATR 52/72 family, type of aircraft. Facility will be operational from July 2011.
