AME Colleges and their fake Advertising

The month of June and July is the admission periods of various colleges for various courses. Students and parents are worried about a good course to join or make their child to get admitted after higher secondary studies. So this is the right time for colleges to show their marketing techniques through advertising. Education has become a business in our country. People spend so much money for it to get admitted in reputed colleges. But they never think about the student’s ability to study and select the field in which they can become the best.

Now a days if we open the news paper, we can see plenty of college advertisings. Why they are doing this? In advertisements they will write many good things about their organization, infrastructure, faculties, etc but in real if a student joins their, he will know the real difficulties. I am not blaming every college, but there are some in the list. So before joining a college, don’t see the advertisements, just ask the students who are experienced with institution.

While talking about college advertising, I wish to connect this with AME colleges. How many advertisements you can find on newspapers about AME colleges in your area? It’s plenty and you will get attracted to it by seeing the good flight pictures, students working in aircrafts, airlines engines pictures etc. You will definitely fall down by reading the advertising messages. They may say, they will offer free On Job training, 100% placements, 5 digit salaries, No Donation, AME with BBA Degree etc... Why they are doing this, because they want to get more students. These students don’t look for the other side of AME profession, the difficulties after the course, but they fell down with the advertisements. They will join the course, spending so much money, and after realize the real trap. By spending so much money and time, if there is no use, then what will be your approach towards it? Still students are not bothering about this condition and thus plenty of new AME colleges starting day by day. If this is the situation how AMEs will get job when there is no demand for them.

So in my opinion don’t blindly believe those advertisements. Just ask those who are experienced in that particular subject. If you don’t have anyone to ask check the internet for references like this. Not only AME course, for every other course that you wish to join must be enquired properly and evaluate your abilities for doing the course. Don’t get cheated by the educational institutions, because we think that we are well educated.
