Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME)

This is a course which is comes under aviation industry maintains the aircraft in airworthy condition. It ensures the safety of aircraft. The person who is doing this job approves the aircraft for flying. Without his permission pilot can’t take the flight for flying. If you wish to become an AME you have to obtain a license from the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India to become an Aircraft Maintenance Engineering in the country. This course is not a degree course, but a license based course, to be imparted only by DGCA approved and recognized institutes. The minimum eligibility criteria for getting admission into any one of the institutes are 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. After successful completion of the course you have to undergo an on job training in an approved organization. This will be advisable to get experienced in the field of aviation and maintenance of aircraft.
