Tirupati Airport for Aviation Career

The international airport at Tirupati Renigunta the form of "Garuda" the king of birds, the preferred vehicle of Lord Venkateshwara will open new employment opportunities for aviation enthusiast. The expansion of the airport project will be the leader to build a new career in the industry.

Officials said authorities have established an estimated Rs 2,000 crore for the proposed airport expansion. An amount of Rs 120 crore has been allocated for the first phase to be completed in two years. The total expansion project will be completed in seven years.

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has asked the state government 736 acres of land near Renigunta for work such as extension of runway, construction of a new terminal, hangars, repair shops and Chamber of fuel storage and other facilities.

Declaring that it is too early to give details of plans to expand the airport, a senior official said the AAI authorities have initiated discussions with the State Government on land distribution.
