Airline Maintenance Checks (ATR-500)


The following are the maintenance concept adopted in the kingfisher airlines (ATR-500) by the technicians or AME.

A check- Equivalent to 500 FH (Flying hours). Multiples of A up to 4A are used. 

C check- Repeat interval corresponding to CFH (Cycle FH) or C =4000 FH. Multiples of  CFH or C up to  4 CFH or 4C is used.



Intervals – Letter Checks

Transit check: Accomplished before the first flight of the day and during each transit stop.

Daily check: it shall be performed once per calendar day. However if the aircraft is in flight at the time of expiration of the 24 hours ( Elapsed time ) limit, the inspection may be carried upon first landing.

Weekly check: Seven calendar days means that next due time is any time in day 8, if previous accomplishment done any time in day 1.

400 Fh check: To be carried out every 400 FH
