How to get the OJT

After completion of the AME course from a dgca approved institution, you need to get an on job training. This training can be get from any dgca approved aircraft maintenance organisations or MROs.

If you have completed the training only you will get the course completion certificate from the institution which you have done the AME course.

To get the training you need to apply in an aviation organisation with a resume and cover letter. The resume must contain necessary informations and cover letter requesting for the training. You can attach the copies of various certificates, dgca marklist, AME semester marklist etc with the resume. I have posted a resume format in this site. You can modify the format and use it.

After applying for the training you need to wait for some weeks or months to get the call letter from the organisation. Ensure that they recieved your Resume in time. If you are sending via postal service make sure that to send in registered. So that it will surely reach the destination. If you are sending via e-mail dont forget to scan and keep the certificate copies with the resume. When your turn comes you will get the call letter. Till that time wait, better things will happen to those who wait. Good luck.
