Aircraft Mechanic Job

Aircraft mechanic is person who does the maintenance of aircraft to continue its service with airworthiness.  He is having the responsibility to solve the problems arising in the aircraft. An aircraft mechanic is a licensed person who services the aircraft; he is only authorized to do the job in aircrafts.

The license of the aircraft mechanic is issued by the airworthiness authority of the country. Indian airworthiness authority is DGCA (Director General of Civil Aviation) aircraft mechanics are needed to complete their training approved by DGCA then only they can appear for the license examination.

Aircraft mechanics are needed to obtain their licenses to certify the aircraft after the service. If he is not license also he can work as a technician. As a technician he can have experience to clear the license exams. Experience in different aircrafts can allow these technicians to write different category of licenses.
