A and P Mechanic jobs in Airlines

Airframe and powerplant mechanics involve aviation science, aircraft electricity, aviation maintenance, aircraft systems, turbine engine operation, propeller systems and reciprocating engines. Precisions and accurate knowledge is required in order to handle the job right and those who are in demand are the certified aviation mechanics.

Powerplant mechanics are qualified to provide maintenance on engines and sometimes on the propellers; airframe mechanics are qualified to provide maintenance and work on most parts of the aircrafts except the powerplants and instruments and the A&P mechanics are certified and qualified to provide maintenance on all parts of the aircraft but the instruments.

Avionics technicians are qualified to maintain and repair radio communication, instruments, navigation components and all other technical support that provides control of the flight and engine.
