On Job Training in RGAA for AMEs India

After successful completion of 05 semesters, the student has to undergo 06 months On Job Training in any DGCA approved maintenance organization.

The Approved Maintenance Organization section of RGAA (Rajiv Gandhi Aviation Academy) is approved under CAR 145 & CAR M by DGCA Vide Letter No: 5-1276/97 – AI (2) dated: 14.01.1997, to carry out maintenance and Non Schedule operation on the following fleets of aircraft:

1. A fleet of 05 CESSNA 152 aircrafts equipped with Lycoming IO – 235 piston engine
2. A fleet of 04 CESSNA 172 aircrafts including glass cockpit equipped with GARMIN 1000.
3. One P68C aircraft equipped with twin piston engine.

Location of RGAA aircraft maintenance hangar:

Aircraft Maintenance Hangar is located at Wings Hangar, Old Terminal Begumpet (OTB), Old Airport Begumpet, Hyderabad.

Checklist of documents to process the application for OJT:

1. Xerox copy of Passport (Attested)
2. Police verification certificate (original)
3. Sponsorship letter issued by AME college (Original)
4. Xerox copy of Provisional certificate issued by AME College (attested)
5. 05 Passport size photographs
6. Xerox copy of Statement of marks issued by AME College (attested)
7. Xerox copy of Licence Examination passed (if applicable)
8. Original application form for OJT filled by candidate.
9. Trainee Academy Identity card. (applicable for in house students)
10. Signed undertaking by the trainee apprentice

Note:

1. The candidates are also requested to submit the colour scan copy of the above mentioned documents with a resolution not less than 75 DPI in compact disc (cd) format, before submitting the application for processing.
2. Original police verification certificate can be submitted in lieu of Passport.
3. Police verification certificate is not required if the passport is issued recently (within last 03 years)

Rules and regulations:

The rules and regulation of the institute are tend to build up self discipline among the students which are extremely important and necessary to achieve the objective. These are to be followed by every student on mandatory basis. No deviation or violation will be tolerated in this regard and may even cause rustication as well as liable for suitable necessary disciplinary action against them with intimation to their parents.
