Sample of AME OJT log book

This is a sample AME OJT log book for AME Trainees. After completion of the job done on aircrafts AMEs required to write it on the log book and get signed by the AME who is in charge of that organization. This is regarded as the experience of that technician for doing those particular jobs. The experience gained through doing various jobs in aircrafts will record in the same and get attested from the authority. While writing DGCA exams, in order to apply for that AME candidate required to submit copies of this log book entry in order to show their experience in the aviation industry and the type of aircraft.


 



The first page of the log book contains the information about the person who belongs the log book, Aircraft VT, Log book No. and in the second page the complete details about the person, like name, date of birth, qualification, permanent address, name of organization, BAMELS, AME license No., signature etc. the third page will contain some instruction for the AMEs and the fourth page itself start writing log book entry.                                                                                                                                                                                    

In log book entry, first column for serial no., second for date of doing the work, third type of Aircraft/ Engine/ Equip/System fourth Registration of Aircraft or SI No. of Engine / Equip. fifth column brief description of job don e.g.: type of inspection / schedule/repair etc. and final column contains the sign of approved person/AME under whom inspection/ schedule carried out with stamp and date.
