Air India AME OJT Training Procedure

If you are considering OJT in Air India, I would like to suggest Mumbai, Cochin and Trivandrum Bases of Air India Charters Ltd. Here you have to apply with your resume and cover letter attaching necessary documents like AME license exam results cards etc. They will consider the people according to the priority applications and there will be an interview after a Tele call to the number you have provided in the resume. So your resume must be perfect with correct details and you must able to produce the answers based on the resume details.

During the interviews, they will mainly ask questions regarding to your knowledge in Aviation industry, and your past learnings. So you must have an idea about things that you are already studied in the AME institute. They will ask questions from CAR Rules, Then AME license Paper 2 Questions, General Questions etc. So you must at least able to respond them at the time of interview. After the interview, if you are eligible they will contact you again or give a call letter about the joining date of OJT etc.

Now a days, they are charging some amount of fees for this AME OJT, and you have to pay this amount before the training. However, you will be getting 6 months training with live aircrafts and inside aviation industry that is really worth experience. Try to extend your training if possible and get some more experiences to get a stand in the Job factor. You need to maintain a log book to record works you are performing on the Aircrafts and get it signed by the AME engineers who is under supervision.
