How to become an Aircraft Mechanic

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is the course which offers you to become an aircraft mechanic after completion of the course. If you want to become an aircraft mechanic, you must be completed plus two
with science as subject with 50% aggregate marks in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. You can also join this course after degree or diploma. With the completion of course AME, you will be eligible to work as a
technician in aviation industry. However, Experience is a must in this job, so that you need to get a lot of training in the field of maintenance and practises of the aircraft. There will be exams conducted by dgca, airworthiness authority of the country, on different papers.

Paper-1 CAR Rules & Regulations
Paper-2 Aircraft general engineering
Paper-3 Airframe, Powerplant and Systems
Paper-4 Specific Paper with an oral exam

When you are clearing these four papers only you will get the AME license to become an AME. These licenses are inorder to make sure that, airworthiness standards are maintained by qualified and experienced technicians. This is also a step to become an AME by clearing the papers. If you are not clearing the papers you can only work as a technician or otherwise called aircraft mechanic in the aviation industry. But remember, inorder to write the exams you must have necessary experience, that you can get by training only.
