AMEs suffering for Jobs in Aviation

AMEs even if they are having three AME license papers are not getting job without having any hold or recommendation in the industry. There are interviews going on but they are asking for some payment in order to get the job in hand. Even if we got the job, they are paying very low salary. Some of my friends even working without salary for the sake of experience they are getting.

Aviation Organizations are keen on making profit with these AMEs by getting man power at the same time collecting money from them. They are paying back the same money by making them work for the company. Only thing the AMEs are getting is the experience. Some of the students are not getting OJT itself after the course. They may be spending lakhs for the AME course and after that also they need to pay for the training. Also this AME course is not considered degree so that the students cant go for further studies after that. Today SINGHANIA University is giving Bsc AME by paying 30,000 Rs, again need to pay some money for that, but it is not approved by NAAC and DGCA. So it is also a problem

These are all the circumstances of current AME students. Most of the students are quitting from this profession and doing some other degree courses. Some are doing different jobs in call centers, as sales executives, office staffs etc. Because they need to pay back the money they took as loan for studying this AME course and for daily living. The ultimate solution is either stop AME course or let these people provided with some kind of privilege in aviation organization by giving free training and experience.
