AME OJT in AirIndia details

AirIndia Bombay base is giving OJT for AME students those who are completed his/her ab-initio training from the Dgca approved institution. The training will be conducted for six months covering all maintenance activities.

Those who are seeking for this AME on job training of six months must hold at least two license papers, Paper-1 Aircraft rules and regulations, Paper-2 General engineering. AME Candidate needs to pay Rs.18, 500 for airport pass and processing fee if he/she is selected for the training after the interview. A call letter will be send to the candidate address and it must be sealed and attested by the chief instructor of the institution in which the applicant completed the AME course. The call letter will contain the information of selection procedure and the documents to be provided at the time of interview.



The training is based on the aircraft inspection and servicing, line maintenance etc. It will be a great experience for the AME students to get familiarize with the live aircraft and the maintenance activities done on that, other than institutional experiences. This will give more practical aviation experience and eligibility for writing further AME license papers.
